I found an item after I paid for it. Can I get a refund?
Answer
If you have already paid a replacement fee for materials, but then find and return the item, you may or may not be eligible for a refund.
If the item came from another library outside of the PCPLS system, unfortunately, we cannot give a refund.
If the item belonged to a PCPLS library (Valparaiso, Portage, South Haven, Hebron, Kouts), and the item was due less than a year ago, then we may issue a refund. This refund will be processed by our administration, and so cannot be given on the spot. If you are library staff, please submit a ticket with the following information:
- Your name
- Your library barcode
- The item name
- The amount paid
- The form of payment
- The date of the payment
