The Porter County Public Library System will be closed on the following dates:
- January 1st - New Years Day
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day
- July 4th - Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- December 24th - Christmas Eve
- December 25th - Christmas Day
The following days will have adjusted hours:
- Day before Thanksgiving – All branches close at 5:00 PM
- Day after Thanksgiving – All branches open at 12:00 PM
- December 31 - New Years Eve -– All branches close at 5:00 PM

- Kouts Public Library – Kouts Pork Festival
